Terms of use
Your account
Give accurate registration and company information, keep it up to date and protect your password. Only invite people you are authorised to add to your company. Each team member should use their own account. Permissions are set by your company administrator within the access granted by Load Relay.
Posting and responding to loads
Only post loads you are authorised to arrange. Use accurate town, date, vehicle and load information. Keep exact addresses, customer contact details and other confidential information out of public listings. Share necessary collection and delivery details with the authorised parties when a booking is arranged.
Check the agreed work, price, timings, vehicle suitability and responsibilities before confirming a booking. Keep listings and booking updates accurate, and tell the other party promptly if circumstances change. Do not use the service for misleading listings, unsolicited marketing, unlawful activity or attempts to bypass another user's permissions.
Access and changes
Load Relay may review listings and restrict access where necessary to investigate misuse or protect users. Account access and posting permissions do not replace the checks needed for an individual load. These terms concern use of the website; the arrangements for each transport job must be agreed by the relevant parties. Nothing here removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy information
Information used by the service
Load Relay Ltd uses the account and company details you provide, load and booking records, messages, notification choices and records of account activity to operate your account, manage authorised access and support the service. An invitation also uses the name and email address supplied by the person inviting you. Required account details are needed to create and secure your account; the company name on registration is optional.
Who can see information
Published listings are visible on the public load board. Company information and work records are made available according to the permissions of the relevant users and administrators. Mescart Core provides the shared account, data and email services used by Load Relay. Hosting and email providers process the information needed to run those services. Do not include unnecessary personal information in public load descriptions.
Account emails and your choices
Account emails support registration, email verification, invitations, password recovery and account security. You can separately choose emails about new quotes, confirmed bookings and cancellations in Settings, and turn those optional emails off there. Turning them off does not stop essential account emails.
Access, correction and questions
You can update your name in Profile and your password and notification choices in Settings. Contact the Load Relay team if you need help accessing or correcting your information, or want to request deletion, restriction, an objection to processing or a copy of your information. These requests are considered according to the rights that apply. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
